Driver
Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and/or passengers in a timely, efficient, and professional manner while ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, staff, or clients to designated locations
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery according to schedule
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety standards
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a driver (commercial or private)
- Good knowledge of local and regional roads
- Ability to read maps and follow GPS navigation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items if required
- High level of reliability, integrity, and responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving commercial trucks, vans, or delivery vehicles
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance
- Defensive driving certification (if applicable)
